Ten Gmail Labs Features You Should Enable

Gmail has been leisurely but certainly rolling out cool new features ever since the happening Gmail Labs. If you refuge't taken benefit of the fruits of Labs, here's a look at 10 Labs features you should allow.

Offline Gmail
Probably the most significant item you can get out of Labs, Offline Gmail takes lead of Google Gears to fork Gmail into an offline dispatch client. Offline gmail

Gmail is my main mail client for years for its simplicity, efficiency and speed. With the new Gmail Labs feature, namely offline Gmail, Google had successfully finished bother me, for all alternatives. 

Gmail is offline Google Gears, which is about to download a local cache of your e-mail to retrieve and synchronize with the mail servers of Google, as you are online. If no connection is available, you can access the locally Gmail with your browser, not just what you can, if you're online (with the exception of Google Talk, of course). 

If the connection is available again, what you did, just off-line must be synchronized with Gmail's servers again. Offline e-mails are sent, the stars and the labels are updated, etc. 

Like other Google services, the new feature is slowly rolled. If you do not see your Gmail Labs, you must in a few days, unless you are not with Gmail English (U.S. & UK). 

If you use Gmail offline Gmail Labs already, you can, and do it by clicking on the "Offline0.1", next on the upper right corner. 



Following Flacky mode is interesting. It synchronizes your e-mails with the server in the background, but Gmail is still with the local cache.

Updates: 
Gmail is offline on my Gmail account after less than 24 hours after publication. Gmail downloaded a year for a total value of my Mail Archive, with its annexes. 

Although I Flacky Connection mode can be used to speed things up, even though we are on a decent connection. But it appears that, in conjunction Flacky mode, images in emails are not displayed. If most of your emails on the basic text and images, Flacky result is useful to speed things up, otherwise, do not use if the Internet connection is slow or unstable.
